# Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies **Barría Miranda Inversiones Ltda (trade name: mem4dev)** uses on its website and application, what they are for and how you can control them. It complements our [Privacy Policy](https://mem4dev.com/en/privacy/).

## 1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others, which we only use with your permission, measure how the site is used or how our campaigns perform. "Similar technologies" include your browser's local storage.

## 2. Cookies we use

### Strictly necessary (always active)

They are required to provide what you ask for, so they do not need your consent and cannot be turned off.

### Analytics (only if you accept)

They tell us how the website is used (for example, which pages are visited and how visitors find us) so we can improve it.

### Marketing (only if you accept)

They measure how our advertising campaigns perform and allow advertising partners to show you relevant ads.

Analytics and marketing tools are loaded through **Google Tag Manager**. Tag Manager is only loaded after you accept at least one of these categories; if you reject them, nothing from Google is loaded on our website. The tools we run inside it can set cookies such as `_ga` and `_ga_*` (Google Analytics, up to 2 years) or `_gcl_*` (advertising conversion measurement, up to 90 days). Google acts under its own [cookie](https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies) and [privacy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) policies.

### Third-party cookies on checkout

Payments are processed by Paddle, which may set its own cookies on its checkout page. They are governed by [Paddle's privacy policy](https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy).

## 3. Your choices

- The first time you visit, a notice lets you **accept all**, **reject all** or **customize** the optional categories. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from **Cookie settings** at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent we stop loading those tools and delete the analytics and marketing cookies we can reach from this website.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, parts of the application (such as signing in) may stop working.
- We ask for your choice again after 6 months or if the categories we use change.

## 4. Changes

We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The date at the top shows the latest version.
